Muddy half term fun

Last week saw the first 3 Peak Cycling UK kids holiday activity days, and all the children and adults had a great time.

We covered some Bikeability level 1 skills before heading out on rides at local country parks, moved onto level 2 and threw in lots of mountain bike skills during the day.

For 2 of the groups we then went to local trail centres to further develop skills and enjoy the berms and bumps, although could have done without the liquid sunshine at the end of day 1😅

One element of the activity was to get everyone to clean their own bike, because I find this a skill children often don't learn (or want to learn?).  I can honestly say all the bikes went away cleaner than they arrived back in the car park, and the journey on "how to clean a bike" has commenced!! Next time I take the toothbrush for the full, spotless treatment!

We are working on our Easter dates in the next few days, so please register at peakcyclinguk.com to receive our next newsletter with the dates on.  Spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
