Autumn children's cycling

The days are shortening, but the autumn heatwave is about to land - dry trails, shorts and short sleeved tops can't be put away just yet!
After a busy summer holiday, I am going away with the family this half term, however if your child needs their fix of cycling, fear not.
Over the half term Big on Bikes, a cycling business I work with, are running some stuff you might be interested in:
25/10 Learn to Ride
26 and 27/10 BikeAbility Level 1 and Level 2
All of these are based on Little Eaton, and more details can be found here

Mountain biking more your thing? No worries; if your child's school has an inset day on Monday 30/10, then I am running a trail day, 9 till 5, meeting at Shipley Park (Mapperley Res car park, as usual). Price is £30 if they bring their own bike, bike hire is £10 extra. We will spend a bit of time at Shipley before moving onto either Hicks Lodge or Sherwood Pines, depending on the group (and weather forecast). Book your space by emailing hello@peakcyclinguk.com.
Then, I am trying something new, a weekend trail half day, on Sat 25th November, 9 till 1. This will either be a ride local to Shipley Park or over at Hicks Lodge. The price if £15 with own bike or an extra £10 for bike hire. Please email hello@peakcyclinguk.com to book a space.
With Christmas coming, if your budding trail star puts biking clothes on their Santa list, get in touch, as I have a few items of shredxs MTB wear in stock. Its great quality and should last ages, especially the shorts. Look here for details: www.shredxs.com
Check in again later in the winter for details of next year's after school cycling and holiday events; we have some exciting developments and partnering opportunities that work for the kids and parents too.
Happy riding
